You must put things into prospective.

Let us look at things that can destroy this fine earth of ours:

First, proven are things like earthquakes, volcano's, meteors, comets, asteroids, global warming, global cooling, and of course atomic warfare.

Secondly, un-proven things like black holes, super novas, black rifts, and aliens.

For some reason humans have, from almost the very start, have not been able to live in peace with each other and down through the ages, we have been our own worst cause of death and destruction. Almost every group has the inclination to change the ideas, beliefs of their neighbors, either with peaceful means or with force, so the others will  think the same way about things as themselves.

Over the last 50,000 years people have not evolved, only their technology. At first they concentrated on improving weapons so they could provide food for themselves, then they used the weapons to protect the food supply from others. We have always been envious of what others have that we do not and will take what we want by the use of the force of arms, or to make them come under our control. This is called Power. The power to make others do as you wish, whether they want to or not.

I know the above is very general and that there are many other factors that one must consider in understanding the why.

We must always remember the past, live in the present,  and try to do better with the future.

We have to think on two levels at once, about what we do that will effect the earth itself, and about what we do that will effect others that live here too.

Not everyone thinks this way, however, and they only want to effect the other's, to heck with the earth.

Here are a few of my thoughts on what is going on in today's world, I may be wrong and am open to changing them, but here goes for now: Terrosim

You must be aware of one fact:

The attack on the Twin towers of the United States was a declaration of WAR.

This was another day such as  the attack at Pearl Harbor, which launched us into  World War II.

Taking the conflict to their area of the world keeps the conflict there, instead of here, only  makes good sense. If they want to die for their beliefs, then let them die there among their own kind, we will help them to do so. Even so, they have killed more of their fellows than they have of us, and we have killed many more of them than they of us, as it seems they hate each other just as passionately, if not more, because anyone that does not believe as they do is fair game for death. The fanatics there brainwash others into doing their demonic work for them, all in the name of religion. We can not allow our liberal's to moan because it was not a quick fix, they have to realize that we have to be there for as long as it takes. Instead of trying to gain for their own personal and political gain, they should be helping to unify us in this our real time of need, both a home and abroad.

And it is not just the United States they are attacking but other countries all over the world. We are just the most easy to hit target and they get more bang for their buck by attacking us in the eyes of their peers. Who is really behind it? What do they hope to gain? Who knows but, if we had to, we could go through the whole middle east and level it to the ground and put them back to the stone ages. But we won't, we just aren't so inclined. We stand for peace and freedom, but they should watch out, as we can only be pushed so far.

If another conflict of the same as the last world war were to hit us today, we do not have the heavy industry in place to produce what would be needed in the time needed to combat the threat. Nor do we have the time to put them into place. We must do this now. We have to repair, or replace many of our bridges, and roads to insure we get what we need where and when we need it. We have to build more power resources and aqueduct systems to provide the basics for life .

 Despite what one hears on the media, most Americans support what we are doing and are ashamed we are not doing more nor supporting troops more, by providing them with the best of everything and enough of it.

Forget the monetary cost, if we have to do what we have to do, then we have to do it.

We must secure our borders from further easy entry and control it from the scourge of fanatics, drugs and other threats against us here. We have put this off for way too long but we can no longer allow ourselves to live in fear, nor to be taken advantage of.

We must  make the  official language of this country English. It is what binds us together across this vast country. Nothing should be in any other language for business, voting, etc. It is great to know another language, but to not know how to speak to one another only divides us more.

Our country was founded on immigration, but there was and is the right way and place to enter. To let anyone do otherwise is OUR own fault.

 Every immigrant that is not documented should be deported back to their country of origin, along with any of their off spring born here. To do anything less is to make a mockery of all that have come here the right way up to now, and are still trying to do so. I know it is a horrible thing to do, but it is what we must do, that is draw the line somewhere and stick to it for a change.

 American companies want cheap labor. Slave labor is what they are getting, from outsourcing abroad and they want it here too. Our companies want the cheapest at the least expense, but a what cost?

 They have broken the Unions, that were started to prevent what was happening then and is now happening again. They will not provide benefits, nor a living wage. They want workers to work with no cost of living raises, holiday pay, sick days, nor any sort of basic medical benefits. So many now do not have medical benefits that those that do are overcharged to help compensate. The whole mess has to be sorted out and fixed.

Our governments (city, county, state and federal) have forgotten what they are suppose to do, many do not serve the people, or can not do so to the extent they would like, but  have to also serve those that provided funding for their election, and dare not conflict with those interest.

A strong military and a solid self-sustaining infrastructure so we can live in peace and provide for ourselves and our families is all we ask.

What can you and I do?

We can vote the fellow Americans into office that are clear minded and will do what is right.

We can demand political appointees be replaced with those that will do the will of the people.
